Who is All-In Players for?
Everyone! We are an inclusive organization through and through. Anyone 18+ is welcome to join our ensemble.
Community members with and without disabilities are all invited to join us to make theatre together. At every level we strive for inclusion. That’s why we include everyone in brainstorming and writing the play.
We also have a guest director each season, someone who is typically one of our actors who is invited to select a scene to direct. Sarah and Deborah coach them through the process of blocking and giving notes to the actors, and the rest is in their hands!
We also invite everyone out to a set/props build day, and our stage crew is an inclusive group as well.
Is there an audition? Any requirements for participation?
No auditions! An interest in theatre is all you need. We only ask about experience in our registration process to gauge how much time we will need to spend on some basics when we begin rehearsals.
I have stage fright!
That’s okay! Being nervous is totally normal, even for seasoned actors. The beauty of Barrier-Free is that each actor creates the role they want. That could mean a lead role or a non-speaking cameo in just a single scene. This is YOUR show.
